Krishnasamy College of Engineering & Technology (KCET) was established in the year 2001 by Sri Krishnasamy Reddiar Educational Trust with the sole motto of “EDUCATION, DISCIPLINE and EXALTATION”. The management is committed to provide quality technical education to the students, in particular from rural areas.
The trust oversees a diverse array of educational institutions, including a Polytechnic College, Arts Science and Management College for women. These institutions provide a comprehensive educational experience, fostering both academic excellence and personal development in their respective fields to thrive in today’s dynamic world.

ACADEMIC PROGRAMMES
The B.E. programs are of 4 years duration divided into 8 semesters. The MCA and M.E. programs have 2 years duration divided into 4 semesters. Each semester typically consists of 75 working days or 540 hours. Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) is followed based on the norms of Anna University. As a part of the degree requirements, all students must complete a project during their final semester. The college places special emphasis on helping students select subjects of current relevance and provides guidance to support their project work
