The Department of Computer Science and Engineering established its U.G course – B.E Computer Science and Engineering in the year 2001 and its PG course – M.E Computer Science and Engineering in the year 2012. The department is equipped with well qualified and experienced faculty members to improve and enhance the knowledge of the student community. The department has good computing facilities with latest and updated versions of the software. The department conducts periodic workshop, seminar and conferences to help students, research scholars and faculty members to share a common platform and thereby strengthen the Industry-Institution fusion. The department educates the students for creating responsible citizen who would contribute to the society and nation.

The Department has experienced faculty members specialized in Robotic Process Automation, Cryptocurrency and Blockchain Technologies, Cloud Computing, Cyber Forensics, Network Security, Big Data Analytics, Geographical Information System, Green Computing, Information Retrieval Techniques, Compiler Design, Artificial Intelligence, Distributed computing, Data structures, Object Oriented programming, Operating systems, Software Quality Assurance and Testing.

The theory lectures are supplemented with the lab experiments, assignments and regular assessments. The students are required to undertake a comprehensive project and also to present seminar on the different topics which are evaluated on the specified criteria.
